Tara Johnson
Co-Founder
Tara brings over 8 years of specialized construction accounting experience to her role as CFO at J4 Property Solutions, Inc., a Houston based real estate solutions company serving homeowners, buyers, and private lending partners. She plays a key role in financial analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and helping align the company’s real estate goals with strong financial performance.
Known for her attention to detail and commitment to clear, accurate reporting, Tara helps implement systems that support transparency, informed decision making, and responsible growth across the business. Her background in construction accounting gives her valuable insight into the financial side of real estate projects, renovations, and investment operations.
Outside the office, Tara enjoys gardening and finding creative ways to use her homegrown fruits, vegetables, and flowers. She has been married to Shane for 27 years, and they have two children, Haley, who is studying Ag Business at Texas A&M RELLIS, and Ryan, who is pursuing a firefighting career through Blinn College RELLIS. Tara also holds certifications in winery ownership, home staging, and vacation rental design, and once survived the world’s most dangerous highway, Black Bear Pass, outside of Telluride, Colorado.
Shane Johnson
Co-Founder
Shane brings over 20 years of construction industry experience to his role as President and General Partner at J4 Property Solutions, Inc., a Houston based real estate solutions company serving homeowners, buyers, and private lending partners. Since entering the industry, he has led a wide range of projects, including light industrial facilities, veterinary specialty clinics, funeral homes, pharmacies, and tenant remodels.
With a strong background in project planning, communication, and problem solving, Shane brings valuable construction insight to the company’s real estate projects and renovation opportunities. He is known for his attention to detail, collaborative leadership style, and ability to work through complex challenges with clear communication and thoughtful planning.
Outside of work, Shane and his wife Tara enjoy traveling and working around their home. He is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts and God’s Garage, and he is the past president of the Texas Motorized Trails Coalition. Shane and Tara have been married for 27 years and are proud parents of Haley, a senior at Texas A&M RELLIS studying Ag Business, and Ryan, who is pursuing a firefighting career through Blinn College RELLIS. Shane is also an avid rock crawler and has been involved in the off road industry for many years.
